BLACK CARPET DYE

Black Carpet Dye is a blend of black pigment and industrial alcohol, formulated for the restoration of black vehicle carpets and carpet mats. It is not suitable for use on rubber or plastic surfaces.

Shake the tin well before use. Decant only sufficient product into an atomising hand held sprayer for the area to be treated into a hand held sprayer and apply the the surface with a fine spray. Black Carpet Dye may also be applied evenly by brush.

Allow to dry - ideally overnight in a well ventitated environment. Once the spirit base has evaporated the black dye will remain in the fabric of the carpet improving the appearance.  

The finished result will depend on the condition of the carpet being treated. Carpets with a high wool content will produce a better result. Carpets with a high nylon content will not perform so well and may require an additional treament. 

If you suspect the carpet has been treated with Scotch Guard or a smiliar product we recommend washing the carpet first
