Lemon Safe controls a broad spectrum of gram positive and gram negative micro organisms and viruses, including Tb, HBV, HIV-1 (AIDS virus), MRSA, VRE, Vaccinia virus, Canine parvovirus and many more.

Use on hard non porous surfaces such as floors, walls, painted surfaces, toilet bowls, basins,
showers, flooring and toilet fixtures.

Suitable for use in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, colleges, medical and dental practices, offices, farms, meat and poultry plants, kennels, shops, opticians, veterinary clinics, and  laboratories.

Apply by mop, sponge, or cloth. Dilute with fresh water and apply Lemon Safe to the surface to be treated. Allow to soak. Rinsing is not necessary on floors unless the surface is to be waxed or polished.

Phenolic disinfectants such as Lemon Safe are still the preferred product in many health care facilities. It is used in areas where cross contamination of blood and body fluids may be a problem. Phenolics are effective against pathogenic bacteria like tubercle bacillus that cause tuberculosis. Sporeforming bacteria like tubercle bacillus are extremely difficult to disrupt because to the protective shell which forms around the bacteria. Phenolic disinfectants are able to penetrate this shell and kill the TB organism inside.
